SEO for Your Website: How to Make It Discoverable?

SEO for Your Website: How to Make It Discoverable?

Your website is indexed by search engines, but to appear in search results, it's important to fill in the SEO title and description correctly.

You can set up SEO in the 'Settings' section of your website, and individually for each page in that page’s settings.

What is an SEO Title?

This is the title users see on Google. It should be short and include your specialty and location.

Examples:

  • Photographer in New York — Jane Smith
  • Wedding Photographer in Berlin | Alex Meyer
  • Maternity Photography in London — Emily Rose

What is an SEO Description?

This is the short text under the title in search results. It should include keywords and briefly describe what you offer.

Examples:

  • Wedding and family photography in New York. Natural light and real emotions.
  • Portrait sessions in Berlin. Final images within 7 days, posing guidance included.
  • Professional maternity and family shoots with location flexibility.

SEO for Internal Pages

“About Me” Page

  • Title: About the Photographer | Jane Smith
  • Description: Based in New York with 6 years of experience. Specializing in weddings, portraits, and families.

“Pricing” Page

  • Title: Photography Pricing | Alex Meyer
  • Description: Wedding, family, and couples sessions. Flexible packages and photobook options.

“Portfolio” Page

  • Title: Photography Portfolio — London
  • Description: Sample sessions: weddings, couples, families. Authentic and heartfelt moments.

Things to Keep in Mind

Indexing your site isn’t instant. After publishing, it can take a few days to a few weeks before Google processes and displays it.

Regular updates — like adding new galleries, pages, or adjusting text — help show your site is active. This encourages search engines to crawl it more often, which may positively impact SEO over time.
